Hilarious and expensive overkill for sure, but it’s pretty impressive that the patriot system can detect and destroy something that small.

A new “super-fuze” device incorporated into submarine-launched ballistic missile warheads are so deadly and accurate…
The last battle involving CV’s was the Okinawa campaign in 1945.
I weigh like 95 lbs. If a 140+lb dog attacks me, I have to do everything I can not to get pulled under the dog. If they get me to the ground they have a huge weight advantage. If my aunt’s lovely malamute decided to murder me she probably could. Of course I’d kill her in the process but that’s all terrible to…
The last time the United States was attacked was 1941. We should just get rid of the entire Department of Defense.
The USA hasn’t scored an air-to-air kill since the Iraqi no fly zones; better scrap all the fighter jets.
“The last time a aircraft carrier has been used in battle was in World War II”
Do you realize the last time a nuclear weapon was used? We should probably get rid of our nuclear deterrent.
The last time America fought a war over Poland was 1945. They should pull out of Eastern Europe. I’m sure President Putin can take care of everything.
Exactly, the Navy can park a carrier group off of any landmass and control 400 or so miles of it with projected air power. We can’t have an entire military built off cruise missiles.
We do not build carriers to fight naval battles against China and Russia. We build carriers to project air power anywhere in the world, at any time, whether we have accessible air bases with mission permission or not. That is what carriers have been used for since World War II and will continue to be used for.

Nuke from orbit. Only safe way.
Your definition of “used in battle” is fairly exclusionary of the last 70+ years of carrier history, and their air-wing’s contributions to the Korean, Vietnam, Cold, and Gulf wars... not to mention GWOT. But don’t let that get in the way of your narrative.
To be fair, a parade through the streets of Dallas is totally foreign territory for the Cowboys.
With the tapping of former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman as America’s next ambassador to Russia, President Donald Trump may…
There is absolutely nothing out of the ordinary about this. All aircraft avoid thunderstorms for many reasons other than just lightning and if you are just flying home from an air show it makes a lot more sense to wait till the storms are gone than risk losing a plane to a downdraft or something.
It doesn’t take long to find an RT troll.
Except that RT is a state sponsored media outlet. They are owned by the Russian government.
Wow, Terrell. That was thorough. This could have been Part 1, Part2.
