I think it’s at least fair to argue whether there is a qualitative difference between protesting during the anthem when playing for your club team and protesting during the anthem while playing for your national team.

That’s a bullshit call. All I saw was someone pulling on the guy’s jersey and he’s like “Get the fuck off of me” and then realizes it’s a ref and stops. There was no ALTERCATION to speak of and no reason for a flag.

Is it normal for refs to grab players by the jersey and drag them away from someone they’re just yelling at? I thought it had to be an actual fight for the refs to get physically involved.

Two quick notes:
