The hydraulic fan can pump more air to cool the radiator then the dual electric fans ever can. As these cars age it's just a little pesky to maintain.

I'd say it Broke a half shaft. It pulled hard right.

IIRC you could get a Turbo V8 and a 6 speed manual. The Cayenne is a beast SUV.

Maybe so. But I've replaced mine already. The original one in the ES grenaded on 76 3 years ago and finding a trans for this car is Hard work but amazingly found one next day. Still runs like a champ.

Any MK4's that are unmolested are usually priced out of the range I can afford. The SC can do a similar job with a better interior and I can afford it.

Much higher production numbers on the Camry. Probably around 10x higher for a V6 Camry 5 speed from 97-01. Easy to find one.
