“Where have all the cheap apartments gone?”
“Where have all the cheap apartments gone?”
I don’t see any 2021 Elantras on lots yet; it’s 3-4 years old based on what’s available (and the car pictured in the article).
I did not realize the EcoSport is an 8 year old design. I guess it’s been living elsewhere in the world and this is its second life, much like the Ranger and Transits we got.
It and the trailblazer are the only 2 with a towing rating
Like the current Ranger, the Ecosport is a rest-of-world car that was only introduced to the US a couple years ago. The nameplate has been used in developing countries since 2003.
JFC! The EcoSport is 8 years in??!!?! Holy balls, Batman. That’s eight years of baduglydontwantit. How has it not been killed? I saw one of those ugly-ass things in the past 1000 miles (month).
I would take a Spark over a Mirage every day and twice on Sundays.
Wow, with an optional 4-speed automatic, too! It’s like a time warp from 1995!
“Nissan sells the Micra in Canada for the equivalent of $7,864.19 American dollars.”
‘While the Messiah tarries...’
Interestingly, that’s still the K13 4th generation model being sold in Canada while the rest of the world has had the vastly improved 5th generation K14 Micra since 2017.
If you put down a deposit, you’ll get one eventually, right? RIGHT?
It’s perfectly possible, but then every website and magazine would crap on it for being dull, or ugly or using *gasp* HARD PLASTICS.
If only Elio had something to sell right now ...
So, I often point out how we get better car deals here in Canada than you Americans do, once you take the dollar comparison into account. Sometimes people argue with me. Well, those people are dumb.
Anyone who thinks this can continue is on drugs. At some point more people need to matter. Technology and all its promise has failed good, honest people just looking to move around and live/work. FK all the car companies who think most people dont matter. A market ignored........literally. Too easy to chase the so…
I would buy the hell out of one of those today as a commuter.
At the risk of sounding like a Stan I’m going to say some things. I haven’t posted in a while because life happened but I have enjoyed those tiny moments when I can pull my phone out and read Jalopnik.
Gun to my head I would take a Versa over an EcoSport. Pretty sure I would rather walk than drive either one.
And for anyone wondering, here’s how many years into their lifecycle these cars are.
