The main source of hate is when you need a bring a real bag... or when you do have a problem or need to change your flight. or just look at the flight attendants funny and suddenly you are charged and extra fee. I use em too...it’s just a matter of going into it expecting to bring a small carry on backpack packed…

Honestly it’s pretty damn nice to fly them if you pay the small surcharge for the big front seat. Getting a first class seat without first class service for a small fee is pretty awesome and totally worth the extra cost. Even with the big front seat and a carry on it’s still often over $100 cheaper than other…

I really don’t get all of the Spirit hate. I use them at least once a month between ATL and ORD. They’re always on time or often early to the gate and do what I want them to do - fly me to where I am going. I put a movie on my laptop and call it good. I have a $40 bag that fits into their “personal item”…
