This is not news. IIRC a whole ship was bought for this very purpose (send used cars to Africa) a decade or two ago.
I guess I don’t feel too bad for getting into a 2016 Kia Soul+ with ~70K miles for 60 months at 7% a few years back. Still paying about $259 a month.
