Good comment from an insider. Thanks for the explanation.

That’s my line?

Jezebel _was_  kinda hawt.

I saw one in West Houston right around the time they came out. White with a tan roof.

“• HAL 9000"

Heel-and-toe” is a misnomer kind of like “Carburetion Day” at Indy when cars have been fuel-injected for decades now.

We can still flag the asshole, right?

Sports Twitter is largely full of brain dead idiots.

The word “accomplishment” is also misspelled as “accomplisment.”

With all that deserted steppe I can see why German tanks invading the USSR in WW2 had to navigate by the stars and just keep heading East. There were no landmarks.

Dayum, son!

What is it, if you don’t mind me asking (and even if you do)?

Sort of a similar thing happened in Houston, TX when State Highway 288 was put through the first Jewish (because of anti-Semitic deed restrictions), later predominantly black Riverside neighborhood in the 1970s.

CP for me. I can’t do anything that requires me to climb a ladder to get into. Even a Ford F250 4x4 is too high for me to get into without a boost or being picked up by my shirt collar.

You should break down and get a minivan. Anything a sleek wagon can do, a minivan can do better, albeit with much much less style.

Good job IMO. Form should, and must, follow function.

In a way this engineering tour de force reminds me of the Napier Nomad turbo-compound aircraft engine (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Napier_Nomad), which was basically the last gasp of the piston aircraft engine before jets took over. This may be the last gasp of the ICE car, because the future is electric.

There’s a black one parked on my street right now. It hasn’t moved in a few days. I think the owner may be out of town.

We caught a special on a microwave for $59 when the (mechanical) timer on our old one gave up the ghost and it became inoperable. Sure it’s smaller than the old one but at least we didn’t have to bring in the neighbor to lift it up onto the under-shelf mount.
