I’m kinda starting to think that, in regards to our exploding climate crisis, manufacturers would be better off focusing on high efficiency/low power economy cars and hybrids rather than trying to make EVs. Expanding public transit with more EVs would be a better use for the insane amount of batteries that the EV…

Exactly this. Racing in Europe, where the road in the Alps and Dolomites are much steeper that what we have state side, we see these speeds all the time. Having raced over there personally, we would see 100kph on nearly every descent. If you’re on a good bike and have good skills then what this guy is doing is nothing…

I don’t want to be That Guy, but this isn’t actually all that unusual. ProTour riders hit these speeds pretty regularly on long descents.
