The US should just front the money. It’s not necessarily a good financial buy but since when has that stopped us - We’ve certainly found more creative ways to waste money. This one has serious middle finger to Putin value, plus Ukrainian solidarity value at the cost of a little less than 2 days worth of military

I think you would have to purchase an F350 sized vehicle to get out of the CAFE limit. The “light truck” category covers vehicles that are up to 8500 lbs, I believe. The CAFE limits penalize the manufacturer.

It’s a reminder that trucks and SUV’s should be included in CAFE standards. These dumb things will be used as regular, on-road passenger vehicles for 90% of the time. Count them as such.

True but they like to complain about fuel c0sts with a 80mi commute and slap “I did that” stickers to everything but their own bumper.

And blame their bad decisions on Joe Biden.

“his round trip work commute was going to cost him $20 a day in gas”

And I’m sure many of the owners will post pics on social media of their gas bill at the pump stating “This is bullshit...”

I think the most important thing in all of this is whether this guy’s hair is a wig or not, so the investigating is not done yet.

and figured it wouldn’t be a problem for them to use the facility

What do they even stand for? What are they trying to accomplish?

You can ask me too. I ordered mine in June 2020 and received it in September 2020. They had not yet ramped up production so there was a wait. It’s a black S3. Back then it was $2199 for the bike, $590 for the 3 year full maintenance/theft plan, and I also got a rear rack and large pannier. All that with shipping my

No joke, bikes be expensive. I recently spent $2300 on a gravel bike and it's very middle of the lineup.  And I have to do all the pedaling myself!

Yeah there are lights at the front and rear that can both be set to come on every time you turn the bike on, or automatically when it gets dark. Will be sure to grab some nighttime riding pictures to show you.

Three grand might be a lot for an electronic bike, but it’s not a lot for a bike.  I do actually have a question...it involves wheelies.

The US has 300% more vehicle deaths per capita than Germany. How does Germany do that? Not with any of that BS you wrote about. They have strict licensing requirements and good transit infrastructure.

I feel like this is the kind of thing where you just need to find the one person who wants this car but I’m concerned that person is also the one selling it.

From the linked article:

Mad respect that he’s not looking for a quick payday (he’s a better man than I), but financial hardship due to his injuries should not fall on him. He’s already a Tigers fan. Hasn’t he suffered enough?

He told the Detroit News he’s considering suing the state for his medical bills and time off work due to the fall

I liked him until he put his bare feet on the seat.
