It’s not that bad. Dad and I took a 2008 KTM 530 EXC-R and a 2001 KTM LC4 Enduro on the TransAmerican trail back in 2009. 5,200 miles, 90% off-road. The 530 is basically an enduro race bike with lights. Checked the valve lash on the 530 a couple times and changed the oil every 1,250 miles with filter every other change

While I agree with your initial statement, I think you’re wrong about the reason. EVs are not the answer because the don’t solve the underlying issue, which is how American cities are being developed. A 4,000 lb vehicle used to move a 200 lb person will never be the most efficient form of transport. I don’t care

It may have a good public transit system for the US, but it’s nowhere near an actually good transit system in Europe. The best description I’ve heard is that you know you have a good transit system when you don’t need to know the arrival times of the buses/trains because they are so frequent that you’ll never wait

The seller just responded that both issues will be fixed before the sale. Apparently, he drives around all his fancy cars for YouTube views in his spare time as well.

Local news here in AL reported on slowdowns at the auto plants here. I know Canadians are supposed to be nice but these cops are taking it a step too far in regards to the protestors.

No doubt. The wife and I are currently looking at JDM “camp cars” (RVs) and would love one newer than 1996. As much as we like the look of them, a 25 year-old camper is a 25 year-old camper with all of the associated headaches therein.

Prediction: 90% of sales for this vehicle will be to YouTube creators.

Why is it worth it? Are you desert running? With a brand new vehicle? Aren’t there better vehicles for that?

Here in AL, there is a saying. Thank God for Mississippi.

The mileage isn’t that crazy. My 2017 Passat has 122k on it since I got it new in December of 2016. I drive around 2,100 miles/month.

“...the indisputably worst convertible in recent memory.”

Auto start/stop. Pay or you will be required to use this abomination.

In the U.S., there are so many applications that EV technology can impact, immediately. School buses, mail trucks, garbage trucks, and any last mile delivery vehicle (UPS, FedEx, Amazon, etc.). In addition, you can probably throw in a ton of commercial vehicles for those in the trades.

You got this! My first ever vehicle (and the 4 after that) was a manual so at least you’re not learning the rules of the road at the same time as trying not to stall in the middle of a major intersection. You’ll be a pro in no time!

It’s hard to say about Max’s tires near the end. His pace dropped but during the post-race show, Horner said they had Max back off the pace because they were worried about a puncture (after contact with Lewis) so close to the end of the race. We’ll never know, unfortunately.

Brings me back to the old AOL days when none of the chicks had working cams.

My dad and I completed the entire TAT in 2009 after I graduated from school. Really awesome trip. 4,500ish miles in 28 days. Once in a lifetime. After finishing that trip, we talked about doing others but Dad is probably too old now and I’m too busy these days. Our ride report is below.

I think, at this point, once the (Pfizer) anti-viral pill is determined to be safe and effective then that will take care of people getting hospitalized. Those that are vaxxed will just get a booster every year (like the flu shot) and those that are anti-vax and get sick will be able to take the anti-viral pill to

Looks awesome! When I was getting close to graduating from college, my only transportation was a 2001 KTM LC4. I was in to adventure riding and was planning a Trans-American Trail (TAT) attempt for after commencement. My dad heard the plan and decided he wanted to join so he bought a bike and we got it outfitted just

And being a right to work state, employers here can fire you for any reason (or no reason at all) unless that reason is discriminatory against protected classes.
