I’ve got a press fit BB on my aluminum frame MTB and I ended up canning the stock plastic unit for a BB Infinite model. It’s a press fit but it’s a single piece of metal. No problems since replacing it.

I know of at least a couple cars that have buttons in the glovebox. My ‘17 VW Passat and my wife’s ‘16.5 Mazda CX-5 have the TPMS reset button in the glovebox.
