I drove a diesel ‘15 then that got bought back for more than what I paid (with about 76k miles) and I got a ‘17. I’ve got about 114k on the clock and still ticking. Speaking of clocks, the only failure I’ve had with mine was a clockspring at around 92k. Other than that, it’s been regular maintenance.

As a cyclist in Alabama, I have had a bunch of close calls. People passing too closely, too fast and too close and just plain rude.

Maybe I’m just being a pedant, but by definition a car that is considered “fairly common” is considered as such because you do see them. Maybe a better questions would’ve been, “What car model have you most recently spotted that you didn’t know existed?”

How about a flat black wagon for $500? According to the seller it only needs the alternator replaced (which they have). The hood scoop (only installed in one picture) gives it that WRX vibe.
