This has happened to me. The mail lady from my apartment called me a week later to ask me if I received the item. I gave it back to her so that she could redeliver it. It was for something I didn’t want, otherwise I could have said “Nope, I didn’t receive anything.”

I like the bacon idea. Part of why bacon is so delicious is due to the crispy texture, which would be impossible to replicate with sous vide. Unless you take it out and torch it, which kind of defeats the purpose. I’m interested to see how it would come out.

I would agree with you, unless you have an auto loan. Most auto loans or leases require you to have a maximum $500 deductible.
