This was a good episode. I liked that it was a little toned down compared to the first two of the season. One of the things I love about the characters is how they talk things out. I don’t think we’ll ever get a stupid storyline about how things go wrong because of a miscommunication. Kat asked Sutton for a thing.

I just want to say I’m so happy coverage is continuing. I love the show more than I thought I would, and really looked forward during S1 to your reviews.

Apparently he was a double agent. he faked loyalty to Brother Love, directed the Zombie Revolution to Gate 6, and warned the US Army to be ready for them. It makes sense— but it needed more background and build up.

Yup. iZombie was a quaint, enjoyable little show for 3 seasons, and then in the season 3 finale they went for a large “reset” button on the show’s scope and it quickly became more than the show could handle.

I mean, he literally called him a murderer in the scene where he asks for his help so... I think he remembers.

One thing I noticed that is missing from all the recaps: that annoying French caricature guy led all those zombies from Bro Love’s church to their certain death. Why? So he was like a double agent all this time? Also, I was hoping they would kill him off because he’s so annoying.

I think I’m taking this news about iZombie ending pretty well

The shrink thing was SO WEIRD. For a minute I thought he was testing her to prove his theory that she uses sex to avoid intimacy. What a mess of a show. Season 1 people were unlikable because they were complicated; seasons 2 and 3 people were unlikable because, like, that’s what makes a character good, right? I can’t

Hence HR Pam’s unstoppable rage.

D.E.O. “Days without injury” workplace compliance sign, again, sadly, is set back to “0.”

Hey, it’s just like that one episode of DS9 where Lwaxana Troi’s powers went screwy and caused everyone to start pursuing random hookups, only without all the sexual harrasment.

Did the writers realize how silly a 25 year old playing a high schooler insisting on age appropriate casting would sound?

Oh yeah, that scene with Fred was great. I don’t give him credit as a parent a lot of the time because he is mostly just the one that isn’t great but relative to some of the other nutjobs, he’s an oasis of normality; but overall he was pretty good this episode. And Luke Perry is awesome in the role and he totally

Fred struggling to hold back tears after the reveal about Archie buying the junkyard jalopy for them to work on together was a lovely, well played scene.

He and Liv broke up at the end of last season. That probably saved his life.

That is called these days, “pulling a Maslany”.

Presumably, he’s how Blaine keeps smuggling brains into the city.

I re-watched a few episodes of season 1 recently, and while I have always been a ride-or-die Jane-Raphael fan, I couldn’t believe the difference in Raph’s character between then and now. I think they’ve done a really good job of respecting Michael, and Jane’s loss, but it also makes sense for Raphael and Jane to be

Hot damn! It’s been a long while since I’ve been so sucked into an episode of television, honestly. Such a beautiful balance of the usual Holt/Jake dynamic with SKB’s positively unsettling guest spot. As someone who hasn’t seen much of his work (I *very intentionally* avoid This is Us) I am happy to finally see what

very much talent on display in this episode
