Sam saying he would continue to love his wife even after she murdered an innocent person really took me out of the show. There were a million better options than murder.

This was truly one of those episode where I had no idea what was happening because a lot of disjointed things were happening at once, but the show have pulled of that many times before and I trust the writers that they will tie everything perfectly for the final *sniff* season.
““Chapter Eighty-Seven” is written and directed by men, but the presence of women behind the scenes, particularly the central controlling force of showrunner Jennie Snyder Urman, gives writer Rafael Agustin and director Eric Lea plenty of insight into how to depict these stories with depth, precision, and empathy.”
but there are extenuating factors here that don’t justify his aggressive and cruel response.
the Balance Ball hiring her boyfriend to write that piece with her—and in a circumstance where the Balance Ball has no idea of the nature of their relationship or how she feels about involving him in her medical decisions—makes absolutely no sense. Pinstripe agreeing to it without checking with her makes no sense.
I’ve always thought that the show could have done more with the dynamics of Rafael’s three children.
on a lighter note, Petra’s “I’m bisexual. It was just you” to Milos is peak Petra.
Alara had her moments, but I’m finding Talla much more watchable.
I wanna say the Season 2 finale or Season 3 premiere
I cracked up the most at them taking turns putting the same blanket over each other. Such a great rendition of such a cheesy trope.
I think what so many don’t get is that complicating the characters is what “This is Us” is all about. It’s peeling back the layers to see Jack as more than the perfect husband/dad that people saw in the beginning. He could be misguided and messed up as well as a man who feels like he grabbed the brass ring by having…
I think the fact that Rebecca has more chemistry with old Greg than new Greg doesn’t help.
The Greg/Rebecca hook-up made me think, How much time have those two actually spent together since Greg’s return? Hardly enough time for them to be proclaiming their undying love.
I laughed so hard at the two drinks and two cigarettes. It was the biggest laugh of the episode for me.
“Suh kyut” gets an automatic star from me. Super kyut.
While I want it to happen naturally, damn it, I’m now shipping Ed and Teleya. What’s weird is I thought they had more chemistry with her as Teleya than they did with her as Lt. Janel. It’s largely because as a Krill she no longer exists as wish fulfillment for Ed and pushes back against him.
I’m one of those people who saw it coming that Tyler was Teleya in disguise. I didn’t IMDb it either. Tyler just seemed too perfect for Ed, and in thinking about what Ed and Gordon did last season in “The Krill” I figured they were going to get some payback from the Krill coming their way. Using their same trick…
Haven’t watched this week’s episode yet, but anyone who read my comments last week knows I’m pretty critical about The Orville. I’m a fan of TNG, not so much of Voyager, and I consider The Orville more of a Voyager clone than TNG. However, I have noticed something that The Orville does better than probably any Star…
Must have discussion, or the A.V. Club will shut down reviews of this fine show.
“I have a confession: you’re super cute.” Maya had a lot of good stuff this episode.
