Exactly! I mean, I feel like there should be more to it and I hope there is over the next few episodes.

Yeah, especially if the experience he had leaving his wife and kids and never saying goodbye left a big impact on him, which it sounded like he did.

I had that same thought … and then I was like, why should I be surprised because the writers like characters to repeat things from flashbacks.

It felt odd going from their scene together to a serious flashback scene.

Yeah, I would stop skipping those doses! Season 3 has gotten better, but I don't think it's been better than Season 2. Too much inconsistency.

My biggest question with Oliver joining the League and becoming Ra's al Ghul's heir is why does Ra's need him to become an heir right now? I mean, Ra's doesn't seem like he's planning on dying at the moment.

I actually found the Felicity-Ra's confrontation to be rather interesting. Sure, Ra's is ruthless. But to a certain extent, I don't think what he said to Felicity is that out of character. Ra's is in tune to people's emotions. Look at how he manipulated Oliver this whole time in getting him to join because he

Thea was just busy getting her drink on. I mean, wine or Roy … tough call.

She was obviously too busy drinking her delicious wine you guys!

Also didn't help that Kate Bosworth was terribly miscast as Lois Lane.

Even though it's apparently not a popular opinion, I enjoyed Brandon Routh as Superman. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I mean, I'm not saying he's the best actor in the word. But I think it's fair to say he has improved from season one. I don't think I'm crazy for saying that!

While at first I wasn't a big Ray Palmer fan, the character has definitely grown on me. That look on his face when he hears Felicity essentially tell Oliver she loves him at the end of the episode … ouch.

I know, seriously.

I was actually waiting for Oliver to get in the Atom suit to fight. That would've been interesting.

I didn't even notice she was only in that one scene until reading this review. Her presence wasn't missed.

I wasn't a big fan of Roy/Colton when he first started on the show, but he's been so much better these past few episodes. It's a shame he's leaving now when his acting has been at its best during his time on Arrow.

Best Arrow episode of the season, in my opinion.

Yeah, I agree about that part.

I'll be honest, I'm a little nervous to see how the show's writers handle the whole city/Lance knowing Oliver's secret identity. I feel like there's a lot of potential for this to be screwed up.
