counterpoint: the guy driving a 991 gt3 on the road everyday is a true hero *real human being plays*

I want to be a martyr don’t want to be a victim,
Be a killer with a gun so they call me a hero,

As if the recirculating ball steering on the e39 was a godsend....get outta here with that nonsense.

I average $12-15/hour.

bullshit - they’re virtually indistinguishable from a driver’s perspective. Lyft and Uber are literal clones....case in point - most (smart) drivers drive for both flags simultaneously. Lyft has just done a better job marketing their ‘nice guy’ persona....which is, perhaps, even more disingenuous.

But they’re not employees.

They should just leave it as it is. If we contractors wanted to work like everybody else, we’d sling lattes at Starbucks. We know what we’re getting into.

People who buy a house in the flight path of an existing airport have NO RIGHT to complain about the noise from said airport.

I would like to interrupt the Uber hate a little to remind everyone that traditional taxi companies were no picnic either. I do appreciate the presence of Uber in pushing change in the industry, and pushing to change outdated local ordinances that were anti-competitive. In my local metro area, taxi ordinances that

Uber - I understand the issues with the subcontractor thing, but I hope drivers realize the freedom they currently have will be curtailed. They will have to work minimum number of hours a week to qualify for benefits and Uber can limit the number of hours a week they allow them to work to 40 and under so they don’t

My local PD would either laugh at you and hang up or find and arrest you for something like public intoxication.

She’s channeling Micheal Jackson & Prince. And that’s a good thing.

except there are tons of cars that are very different that share the same tranny yet they make a perfect pair. the old aisin 6 speed for example has been in use since the 90s and it comes in the miata, silvia, rx8, FT86, s2000, etc. The ZF 8 speed is equally at home in cars as disparate as Range Rover, A7, Charger,

May I suggest this:

Personally, me and the GF watched the first episode and were very entertained. We watched the second and we both said “ok, we cant watch any more of this BS”

Or you know...a $140k top of the line brand new ZR1 that is better than this frankenmod in every single way.

thank you. The engine is a motorcycle engine. It’s aircooled and cleaning the fins is a PITA. Still, high pressure might just be too risky.

I would recommend against using anything high pressure in the engine bay. Many parts are not made to stand up to the pressure. All of the engine cleaning guides I have seen recommend using low pressure water along with brush agitation and giving the cleaner time to work.
