Were you speaking a western language? Then it’s almost fair that they assumed you were tourists, especially in what sounds like a predominately Asian plane. If an Asian couple only spoke an Asian language the entirety of the way, it wouldn’t be completely uncalled for.

White “Liberals” are the type to say, “I’m not racist but...” or use Ghetto/poor/etc instead of saying what they really mean, Black.
