Were you speaking a western language? Then it’s almost fair that they assumed you were tourists, especially in what sounds like a predominately Asian plane. If an Asian couple only spoke an Asian language the entirety of the way, it wouldn’t be completely uncalled for.

1st amendment doesn’t apply to threats, especially since it’s a viable threat because there are minorities attending the school with them.

White “Liberals” are the type to say, “I’m not racist but...” or use Ghetto/poor/etc instead of saying what they really mean, Black. They’re usually less overt and hateful than their conservative counterparts, but make n0 mistakes, they’d piss themselves if they were in a room of black people alone.
