Oh they’ve gotten more intense! I grew up to be a teacher, we called them lock downs and got to experience the other fear of being the adult trying to protect your students. I was not sorry to move to a different part of education where I’m not actively in a school on a daily basis.

I had my first active shooter drill a month after Columbine as a 5th grader. They were a thing for the rest of my school career. The drills have been a thing for a long while now.

When they first got married they lived out in the country and had more apparent freedom to do everyday things. You don’t usually see her doing the shopping nowadays.

Shrug, there’s no way to know for sure. I just meant general re-wearing of stuff. Although, there have been pap shots of her at like a friends wedding re-wearing stuff. I don’t know if those count since they’re not official engagements but it is in public.?

I like What Kate Wore, and yeah no way I’m actually buying but I appreciate that they tell me in case someday I decide that kind of money isn’t nuts for a dress (also I don’t like the slightly different flowers on the reissued version).

There’s at least a week every month without engagements (not counting the international tours). I’m pretty sure she does that when not out on “royal” business.
