It wasn’t pushed through, there were committee hearings, Republicans added amendments.

If those are the biggest issues you have with the ACA, it’s doing pretty well.
I have a hard time buying into this fluff take. Clinton email scandal? NYT and Gawker. The more recent Weinstein story? Again, the NYT. This list could probably go on for a while, but I’m not spending that time digging. Please link any major scandals ignored by the “liberal” media.
The funny thing is, her polled approval ratings are always good when she’s in office, and go in the toilet once she’s on the campaign trail. Maybe she really does have a repellant personality? All these people say “I don’t vote for a party, I look at how the candidates policiy plans affect me” and then proceed to…
Logically, every model should come in 1 color, with maybe 3 tiers of options. Maybe only 2, you can have a base model, and an expensive one. Less models too. A truck, a small car, and a big car. With crossovers based on those ones.
They do one major thing for manufacturers, keep billions in inventory off their books and staff the dealership. I don’t think any manufacturer is interested in maintaining inventory and staffing locations.
They’ll support him like they support other Republicans, because there’s really only one thing these people want, enough justices to make abortion illegal. They would vote for Karl Marx if they thought he would outlaw abortion.
I think it would honestly be better with a small block. Better MPG and not that much less power.
My Brother in Law has one of these he traded a small boat for C2500, 350 5 speed RC 8 foot bed. It’s a very good truck imo. If all you need is cargo capacity and simplicity, you can’t go wrong.
Exactly, since it could be worse, there’s no reason to try to make it better!
We do that on those too, only Duramax though
Yeah, but it’s an LS. So all it needs is a sloppy cam, PAC 1218 valve springs and a Chinese whirly bird. It’ll make 580 on pump gas for another 5k miles at least
By law you’ll always get care in the ER. You’ll be billed for it without insurance though. The other issue we have is that because people without insurance have issues managing chronic issues like diabetes, the only treatment they get is in the ER.
But dying is a *choice* you make. Like when you choose to pay your mortgage instead of 800 dollars a month for health insurance. Under the ACA you might have gotten that insurance subsidized or free
So I have a few rigs I service in the top corner of the state, so I drive through happy valley twice a week. I was thinking about how they all want that statue put back up, and I’ve decided we should re-install it. But while JoePa smugly looks the other direction, there should be a statue of Sandusky molesting a kid…
I can’t read a transcript of Trump when he’s off the prompter, it makes no sense, it’s just incoherent gibberish. And I lose patience when I listen to him talk while he reads the prompter because it takes so long for him to complete a sentence, and there’s all these weird pauses when his mouth needs a second to catch…
Dealers that I’ve worked at as a tech have even been honest about it. They just hire warm bodies, worst case scenario they sell 2 or 3 cars to friends and family that want to help them out in their new job and we roll them out the door after that. At least we got a few sales out of it. If it turns out they can hang,…
Haha, warranty is easy money. I’ll definitely admit it’s nice because it’s as close to a guarantee as we can get, it’s not easy money, not when we have to employ two full time people just to process paperwork while we make 10% over cost on parts and a reduced labor rate and time.
I only go places where the owner will wrestle a gator in the middle of the street if someone beats his deal
This might be my favorite one ever.
