It sounds like a cross between the Reeses Nutrageous and Crispy Crunch bars. And that’s not bad.
M&M’s actually did a PB&J variety for a little while- peanut butter M&Ms with a strawberry shell. They were amazing.
As do cinnamon bears which are even better.
I’m pretty simple, so I experiment with sodas and fruit juice combos. My favorites are both pineapple juice-based.
One of my favorite Frankensteins is Sour Patch Kids and Honey-Roasted peanuts. This actually comes out like a peanut butter and jelly, with a citrusy tang.

Yeah, in pretty much any dish that isn’t a soup or stew, I’d be fine with this, but holy crap that’s a crap move for a dish like this.
I find a teaspoon of really finely diced roasted green chile is extremely good when making this rice too.

I’ve tried a ghost pepper, which was brought out to our table dried and coarsely ground. The spot I put the pepper on was painful for over a day and numb for a week about that. I’m good after that.
