IMO, near accidents are acceptable, other situations... not so much.

Oh yeah, this won’t stop us, just would be an additional fun little facet to the trip
You’re exactly right. I have an autistic 6yo (he was five when we last went)and neurotypical 2yo. Both handled it wonderfully and love going the last two years. The 2yo was looking at pictures from his first trip, and pointing things out. It was great.
Seconded to both. Both of these saved our bacon.
Do you know if Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom is WDW exclusive? I’m in the west, so Disneyland is easier for us, but I would love to try this out.
Thought I’m far from childless, I think if you’re a Disney or theme park fan You’d have a lot of fun.
Definitely agreed. Parades and the big shows are excellent times to try to catch popular rides.
Quick correction about the pin trading- it’s the cast members not the characters that have pins. Don’t look for them on ride operators or food and beverage cast though (safety concern for the former, health concerns for the latter). Janitorial team and and shop teams are your best bet.
Yeah, for sure. But like I said, unfortunately too many people either don’t educate themselves or are too afraid to stand up for themselves. Which is what they’re hoping for.
In most states, consent means they have to agree to do it each individual instance.
It’s illegal in most states to do that unless the employee consents to it. Unfortunately not enough people in that situation know that it’s illegal.
There’s a sitdown burger place I frequent that also has some pizza and pasta. They always disclose that those dishes can take a little longer. I’ve never seen anyone have a problem with that. Either they continue with what they planned to order or change to a burger, no fuss. That’s all it needs.
My wife and I were once in a restaurant that took fifteen minutes to see a server, ten more minutes or them to come back to place our order, and then they vanished for forty-five minutes. We couldn’t find anyone to talk to about it so we left.
I hadn’t thought of this, but it makes perfect sense. Especially since I walked 5-10 miles a day. :-)
If it’s a first haircut, and they do a whole THING, it could be fun.
I forgot about rider swap! If one of your kids is too small for a ride, ask for a rider swap pass for the parent who stayed behind. They’ll give you a fast pass and get you in shortly after.
What you said about shoes- and not just fashion. DO NOT BRING FLIP FLOPS for wearing in park. At the water parks or beach, sure. But not walking around the park. Wear a good cross trainer/athletic type shoe.
If you want a fun, unique souvenir, try pin trading. Cast members are required to trade with guests, and they have unique sets of enamel pins that are a lot of fun.
A lot of times, the photographer cast members will take the picture for you too (unless this policy has recently changed).
YES TO THE ALL OF THIS.
