Wasn’t uncommon for soldiers during morning PT to be in the worst place possible when the fiercest of urges relentlessly comes knocking.
They could be easily identified by the tell-tale sign, one of their socks would be missing.

Could have been Joanna’s obit in Kramer vs. Kramer.
In Chicago, I spend $4.50 roundtrip to work each day for bus fare. With about 21 work days per month, that’s roughly $95. Prices for groceries are considerably marked up for our neighborhood, so it’s cheaper to have them delivered by Amazon Fresh. For everything else, we use CTA/Lyft.
My wife needs to drive for work,…
Chicago is awesome. We’ve got a paid-off base model Hyundai and a rental spot behind our Lincoln Park apartment in Chicago. Most of our mileage is from long drives out west to go camping or visiting family. My wife needs it for seeing clients at their homes, but otherwise we rarely ever drive and the bus commute to my…

It’s not a big deal, but the symptoms are basically just an irritable stomach and bowels. She just tries…

You’d better be set up for your defenses to rely on nonradar based defense ...
I wonder if a MASER might do the trick though.
You’d be better off just shooting nukes into the sky designed to detonate in the upper atmosphere near enemy nukes.
I was really fascinated with the project and obsessed over it for a bit.
Here’s a really cool 1960s era propaganda video that you might like:
I’ve been coming back to the comment to see what that weird creep is saying this time.
I miss that show so much.
Look up the Sprint and Ajax anti-ballistic missile programs. They were abandoned decades ago because ABM technology is too expensive (and unreliable) relative to the cost (and use) of a nuclear missile.
Aren’t ballistic missile interceptors still illegal?
