I saw this movie on opening weekend with a half-dozen friends at college. I immediately embraced it, and bought it on VHS (and later on DVD) and also bought the soundtrack. Afterwards, we spent our entire Chinese buffet lunch in a spirited debate, with half the group loving the film and the other half hating it - but

It's a great place to spend half your paycheck on really small burgers, very basic fries, and a blizzard clone.

His…music? Interesting, I did not know that. I thought the dude was just, like, Kardashian or Snookie "famous", from a reality show or something - not from anything actually worth lauding. That is, if it's worth lauding. Opinions?

Pretty sure he got kakked in the movie, but you never can tell since we didn't see his body get blowed up. After Tony and Rhodey knock him on his metal butt, he sets off all the 'splosions, but hey, you know how it is in comic books…

It would have been even more heartbreaking if the dodgy CGI old-age effects wouldn't have thrown me out of the moment. It's always the lips and mouth movement during dialogue that looks unnatural and shoddy.
