Seems like the “lol we’re a Disney film saying fuck” shtick is isolated to the first 10-15 minutes? Guess it’ll make it easy to fast forward through once it hits streaming.

This really has the vibes of a sheltered 12 year old who just learned about the word ‘fuck’ and thinks it’s cool funny to keep saying it over and over again.

I love the Dominion War, and I love how it has had long ramifications for the contemporary Star Trek universe. But there’s one thing it introduced, used well, but has been overused and overused in the the sadly predictable Wrong™ way. Of course, I’m talking about Section 31.
I mean, nearly wrecked is click baity, as I’m sure it was designed to be. But DS9 is an excellent example of how Trek can test and strain its stated values while ultimately reaffirming them and it stands in stark contrast to efforts from shows like Discovery or Picard, which to varying degrees ultimately ignore,…
Best reaction from a friend: “I tried playing. I went the wrong way and got killed by some giant bug before I even had a weapon. Like, five times. I can’t stop watching the show.”
Two hypotheses: 1) there’s a wider spectrum of ghouls in the show universe than what the games have shown us; 2) we can presume Moldaver has had her captive since whenever she went feral (unlikely she just went out into the wild and found her now), so maybe she’s been unfed and wasting away to nothing. It would be…
Thanks for a nice set of recaps/reactions—some of the best and most actually thoughtful writing I’ve seen on this site in ages, and from someone who actually has history with the Fallout franchise, even.
pretty good show, man. lots of little things they can improve in season 2, but for a first season with that kind of baggage i think the team did a tremendous job.
Useless fact! Hanks authorisation code is 101097 , the date that Fallout 1 was released!.
That dude is a good actor. I don’t always like the character, but he’s really good.
And then grabs a fistful as he gets up.
“Hell, maybe we would just watch a TV show of Johnny Pemberton wandering the Wastes, running into weirdos like this.”
The scene where Maximus sees Lucy being dragged off and has a moment of decision between his bowl of popcorn or rescuing here was awesome.
Insects are a more natural cat food than Beef or Tuna fish. I mean is a cat gonna go out and kill a cow or catch a tuna fish, or go find bugs and lizards to eat?
In case they are looking at comments... I am all for this as long as the food is as healthy as meat based food and I don’t see any part of an insect in the food, I am all for this.
If the cat likes it, why not? It’s a win all around.
This was the episode that completely sold me on him. He's such a glorious himbo.
I am truly enjoying Aaron Moten’s performance as an immature, impulsive weirdo who’s stumbled into a hero’s journey. Or at least a lead character’s journey.
No, not at all - at least, not according to my wife, who doesn’t do video games. Having a basic knowledge of science fiction tropes helps, though.
