This is incredibly unsurprising. Freely-available AI content generation tools have only been around for a short time and already they’re being used for exactly what we all knew they would be used for. We are not ready, as a society, for this level of disinformation.

Never has a film had a more concrete window to exist (the 2-5 years after Tron: Legacy came out) and missed it more clearly than this one.

I think it’s kids and money. As parents and kids get older, they become concerned with how their kids are going to make in when they leave the house, and they become susceptible to the Fox News narrative that the Democrats are really Socialists who want to take everyone’s money.

WandaVision started out as something really interesting, but man did they bork the landing. It went from a meta-commentary on TV in general to a bog-standard mid-air laser/punch fight that could’ve been in any MCU movie or show.

RB4 kept the rhythm game era going for much longer than I expected back in 2013, so I can’t complain. Still, it’s sad to see the era end for real now. I doubt there will be a Rock Band 5, now that Harmonix is beholden to Epic’s plan for transforming Fortnite into a metaverse. But It’s not like there was a market still…

I just don’t get the love for WandaVision, fun at first, terrible towards the end. That ending was beyond cringe, “they’ll never know what you sacrificed”, was as bad as most Youtube hate videos made it out to be, she killed people, mind-kidnapped hundreds? Thousands? All because she lost Vis to Thanos, like literally…

Wandavision was such a disappointment for me. The fake out with Pietro was so lame and Wanda facing absolutely no consequences for literally torturing a whole town will forever leave a bad taste.

I haven’t seen every Marvel show, but Loki, Legion, and Moon Knight are at the top of my list. 

Respectfully, maybe 2009 was better depending on nostalgia, but I reserve worst for Into Darkness.
