Unless your entire season of Punisher is literally Punisher going out of his way to consistently, repeatedly, grimly but satisfyingly kill a bunch of racist cops and commissioners over and over again, and that’s all he does for the entire season. This was my exact reaction. Instead of running with the “Neo can now control reality, what do the Machines do?” setup at the end of the 1st movie, it seemed like they had a complete failure of imagination and just said “no, we need more fight scenes, so Neo is just going to conveniently not be that powerful.”
