So NOW they have the budget to show Ghost some proper love?

These past couple days have been SO frustrating, because so many people have been posting better solutions to GoT’s plot problems than what D&D gave us.

I’m an old(ish) fart, and I remember the dark ages before internet fandom. I think part of the problem for me is that I’m still stuck in those dark-age expectations, where the writers will always have the best ideas (or at least better than mine, usually).

I’ve got a bad feeling about this.

Y’know what would’ve been shocking and awesome and unexpected?

The move came just as it seemed as if Cersei’s forces were going to call it a day and relinquish power peacefully.

Given what Arya went through a few seasons ago, that was no big deal. Walk it off, Jaime!

Gendry is looking SO plausible right now.

Grey Worm is the face of the Unsullied and Dany’s only unquestioning support at the moment. He’s not going to die until the very end, when Dany doesn’t need her army anymore (one way or another).

The nigh incalculable amount of free-time

These are just the reaction shots to when they received their scripts.

‘Scuse me, I gotta hop over to Chiba City to pick up a couple ROMs to slot into my ‘deck.

I’m half surprised they didn’t have Ghost get eaten by one of the dragons, just to give everyone another reason to question Dany’s fitness to rule.

That would’ve been so much better.

Turns Out Game of Thrones’ Dragons Are Kinda Weaksauce

Me: Man, that Cersei, she’s so eeeevil.

The good guys don’t deserve to win at this point, they’re too dumb.

I DO really like that Davos addressed the whole Lord of Light thing, at least. The Lord of Light’s team won! Yay! Now what? Nothing?

It still wouldn’t have worked, of course. There were just too many zombies
