Really slow Mass Effect elevators for everyone!

Exactly this. It’s an interesting direction to go with Luke, and IF it had worked, it could’ve been awesome. But such a fundamental change in the OT’s central protagonist needs a LOT of justification, and I just didn’t see it.
This is why in my headcannon “HP” always means ‘Hero Points’.
Oh man these games. U7 is still blows me away with how in-depth it is, so many little things. I spent I-don’t-know-how-many hours trying to get to the Shrine of Sacrifice early enough to rescue the woman but not so early that they hadn’t arrived yet. I’m still not convinced it’s impossible to save her. U7 to this day…
Everything with Luke/Rey/Kylo worked, and almost everything else was varying degrees of “huh?” ALL OF THIS.
The “Cool” stat is a nostalgia cookie for fans of the old Cyberpunk 2020 tabletop RPG. From what I recall (it’s been many many years) it’s basically a combination of willpower/social charisma. Literally, your ability to stay cool under pressure. Style was very much a part of the theme of the game (where one of the…
The way I always handled it as DM was to treat the mob of cannon fodder as a single creature. So 10 1 HD mooks would be a treated as a single 10HD, 45 HP creature. I’d guesstimate how many of them could attack a single PC at a time, figure average damage from 5 hitting at once, etc. etc. It took a little prep work but…
For all the folks saying “it’s just what Obi-Wan and Yoda did”, what part of they were keeping an eye on Anakin’s spawn did you miss? The whole plan was to lay low until *cough* a new hope arose. It may not have been a good plan, but they at least had a plan. Did Luke? If so, I missed it.
I dunno. It’s a stretch but I can see Luke being fallible and making a momentary mistake, but to just go hide somewhere and not at least make an attempt to fix his failure seems really out of character. Even Obi-Wan & Yoda didn’t give up, they were hiding out until the time was right to try again. Keeping an eye on…
Yeah, but then Lando actually got to show off his skills, whereas Holdo was all “shut up and quit asking questions” as a mutiny boiled up around her.
“Some say space shuttles don’t actually go to the moon.” I nearly hosed my keyboard because that was EXACTLY what I was thinking. Can’t wait to check this out.
Holy crap. This was literally the first thing that popped into my mind, but I’m shocked anyone posted about it. (My char was from Esgaroth, and I vaguely remember some plot about someone finding some jewels off the corpse of Smaug, but they were cursed, trouble ensued, etc. etc.) Last I checked maybe a year ago…
The only way I can see this working is if they do something similar to SWTOR, where different zones are level-capped, and you’re automatically lowered to that cap if you’re flagged for PvP.
