If you had to be an average professional athlete in any sports knowing what you know (football=cte, lower salaries in hockey for being a 3rd-4th liner) which would you pick? I’m all aboard being a legend for Westchire FC playing in the 92nd division of English football

Should there be a law that all non-retail/consumer businesses close at 1 PM on Friday? How much work is actually done in offices on Fridays after 1 PM? Sometimes I delete work I did earlier in the week just to prove a point.

DC is fine. The subway is undergoing much needed modernization and that’s made it a lot suckier, but the bus system is pretty good, and the city itself is actually quite small, making cabs/bikeshare pretty easy and attractive propositions.

DC’s is bad because it is a major city that shuts its subway system down every night, leaving local sports teams to beg and plead for them to keep it open a little later. that’s embarrassing

Nothing! We keep trying to guess who’s behind it.

What is the best/worst Bill Simmons-ism? My vote: “people don’t realize.”

On a scale of 1- Belichick answering questions about injured players, how tired are you of commentors asking why you don’t stick it sports?
