I gotta agree with Duffin on this one. The art style is terrible. It looks like they tried to kitbash graffiti over stop-motion, which isn’t a bad concept, but the execution makes the action feel a bizarre hybrid of freeze frames and stop-motion.

Man....I love TMNT, but I just can’t get into this. I actively hate the art style as well as the voices chosen for the turtles. Maybe I’m too used to the multiple TV versions, but they don’t fit for me. Guess I’ll be skipping this one like I did the newest live action movies....

I’ve also put about 15 hours into the game and agree it’s largely fine. A solid B game with A+ art direction and environmental detail work that papers over a lot of the open world errand running and cliche narrative tropes. A fine and- if observed in a vacuum- totally innocuous game.
