Nah it’s still over-priced. I paid the same price for a 2010 with 30k miles on the clock. Same 6-speed with the larger 2.9L and nicer interior.

Hanging metal skull from mirror. CP because current owner has less-than-zero taste.

That type R is maybe the worst rear end in the motoring world.

The new Civic really is the worst. It doesn’t get any better when you get into more pedestrian models either:

They aren’t relevant with being the top 10 richest in the world?

There are several out right wrong answers in this thread. Z3 clownshoe? It’s value is already exploding. IS300? Cool car, but its performance is already outdone by most modern camry’s, and the styling is pretty generic 2000's. 2000's mustang? They are just not on the same level of performance and styling as the last

Unions are the only way to save the middle class. Good for you guys and best of luck.

Good for you guys. Truly.

We’ve decided to form a union here at Onion Inc., home of The A.V. Club and our sister sites The Onion and ClickHole.

It turns out we solved the problem of “cars” in the late ‘70s. We don’t need more new cars. This is the only car we need.

It’s a desert runner, but mainly a dick-swinger. I’m jus’ sayin’.

Take the “Too big” statement and apply it to pretty much all of the current trucks on the market. ALL have ballooned up to cartoonish levels. The newer Tacoma, Colorado, upcoming Ranger are too big for being medium sized trucks. The newer Silverados, F-150's and Rams are now all in “Bro-Dozer” territory. And then cars

How cute, you think their owners actually take them off the pavement.

To counter this, since 2012 the FR-S/86 has outsold the Miata in the U.S. In that time it’s also outsold the entire production run of the S2000. These cars are not doing as poorly as internet commentators and articles would have everyone believe. Sales have certainly dropped off, but that’s typical of any niche sports

It’d also significantly increase the cost, which would more likely shrink its customer base. The number of those who would actually buy a turbocharged 86 is likely much lower than the number of those who claim they would, especially given what the car would likely cost then.

Also fair to point out Volkswagen has a dealership problem in the US. Namely, they’re all kind of jerks and usually the only VW dealer in town.
