The sad thing is, more people than not are utilizing the microtransactions. I’m the only person in my team of regular rec players to not pay to upgrade their character from the start. I’m lagging way behind, and pressured daily to buy VC. I refuse to support this company, though. 

Nintendo really needs a full-blown console that rivals xbox and playstation. The limitations of the switch really have me tempering expectations for this. 

Too little, too late. If we keep supporting games like this we’re giving the developers the ok to release half-assed games in the future. Hard pass. 

99% of the time I agree with you not to preorder. I’ve been burned more times than I care to admit- but this is pokemon. Sure, some are better than others, but I don’t ever regret purchasing one of these.

Next gen does not look next gen. I played through the first couple missions, and while enjoyable, it obviously is not Destiny, or even Anthem for that matter. Voice acting is pretty terrible, but I am still debating picking up the full release to see how the world expands.

At first glance this seems to be what everyone has been clamoring for since the beginning. I hope they also included real voice actors to make it even more immersive.

200 pokemon seems too low. Nintendo really needs to upgrade their capabilities, the Switch is falling waaayyyyy behind what gamers have come to expect.

Any idea how the leveling will work? I’m assuming NPCs won’t auto level to your party. Will people be bringing their lv. 100 team through this? Or will you get a level 5 Kubfu and grind it out? I like the idea of starting with a fresh team.
