You just buy the phone and log in once. Don't need to do anything else.
If you want, you can do some of the extras... but it's entirely optional.

I know plenty of tech-challenged people that pick up Android phones and 'it just works' for them.

I got the R.A.T. 7 so I could customize the size to my gigantor hands. Unfortunately, making it longer throws the center of gravity off and the mouse tips backwards.
