We can't simply let Apple off the hook because it is something that happens to other cameras. The fact is that it is worse than previous generations of the same phone. They have proven that they can do better.

They could instead change the way expandable memory works and focus on allowing media files to be stored/used, but not have apps run off of it.

That certainly seems like the most sustainable naming convention possible. Definitely more-so than kitty cats. It is more likely that they come out with a new type of device to replace it- and by default, resetting the numbers.
