I'm almost certain that the point of this article was not that Apple is evil.

One tiny picture? :/
Absolutely. It would even be fair to say that the Air changed the landscape... but laptops are still laptops.
My point is that the MacBook Air was a new type of device... it exists in a parallel path to laptops.
"What Laptops Looked Like Before the Ultrabook. And What Ultrabooks Look Like after the Ultrabook."
I am down with ugly, as long as it works. Thanks for the suggestion.
I am in the middle of a quest for the perfect camera backpack that is not baggy at all. The closest thing I can find to suit my needs is the Evolution 8 (http://www.tamrac.com/5788.htm). It has the full shell, not baggy look, side entry and a general storage area for not-camera related things. The bag is perfect, but…
Some of the patent infringements were on UI stuff... so maybe the unbranded phone didn't have the "enhancements" that Samsung put on the other phones.
Watching this, I knew what was going to happen. However, I didn't know it was going to be a shotgun.
I think they point is that Apple doesn't deserve ALL the credit. The original tablets were an important building block for Apple.
The build quality is actually quite nice (thank God it wasn't Samsung), and your defects are actually defects and are covered by the warranty like the other user mentioned.
Being 6'4" with huge hands, I have often lamented about the lack of 7" phones. I've settled with a Nexus 7 for now. It's silly, but it fits nicely in my back pocket. If they could trim the bezel and cram an HSPA+ radio into it, I would sell my wife's car for it.
Here-here!
This does seem like more of a Lifehacker thing, probably.
Thank God. What they have now is definitely a better choice, considering that it sits flat.
Considering that is the measurement at the maximum thickness, there might be a significant portion of the tablet that is actually thinner than the iPad.
This type of argument is infuriating.
I just bought this same rack from Amazon prime for <$7. Not too bad.
Well, I believe signing that means you agree to the terms, found on the same page:
