Quick question: Would someone remind me, why was Annalise calling everyone to the house?

OK, I'm coming around to your point of view. I can see the parallel plots in last season better than this one, Caleb versus Philip, etc. But there were real clues in the Hapstall murder season. I think that they did point things to Caleb and Cat with the murder of their aunt, because the only one with real motive

Yes, I heard that too. But I still think they make the plot work more than just twists. Everything does fall into place better than most shows, and the writers are very inventive.

oops, sorry

I don't think Frank shot Mahoney because of two things: 1) I don't think he would do it in front of the puppy. 2) He killed the hitman at that hotel and took the hitman's rifle to frame Mahoney's son, and that rifle turned out to be the murder weapon for Mr. Mahoney. Thus, Annalise (who already admitted to Eve that

So how can this all be resolved and next season be set up?
Truth comes out about:
Eve being informant and also being the one Wes/Kristoff called in the taxi. Eve comes back next episode.
Ollie finding more info on phone: calls to hitmen. (Notice that Annalise did not call Bonnie and Frank.) Ollie then goes to cops or

BIngo

Yes, normal people would immediately ask, or want to know, how. I felt that was a little wierd. I guess they had to leave this information hanging. Maybe the Gang of 4 will start to talk about it next episode.

True, Frank has been revealed to be the despicable fixer and killer since the beginning. That's why he is trying to atone all this season. He will be revealed as a good intentions / bad outcomes guy with the finale. Because:
Annalise tried to kill him with a hit man.
He did not shoot Mahoney, but killed the hitman

Sam had Lila murdered, not Annalise, That was the big surprise that season. Frank was talking to Sam on the phone. They developed the back story the next season.

I liked seeing Frank as a successful lawyer in his prison garb. Good plot element to get Atwood's future confession.

I wonder if they are trying to set up that possibility. When Wes calls his emergency number and says is "Kristoff", other things come into play. Eve and some wierd witness protection plan. I don't believe that he is alive, because he was on the slab for too long. But I do think that more people will come into play

I think Bonnie is motivated by fears that it belongs to Frank (remember that scene when Frank is getting dressed at Lauerel's and says "I'm sorry" to Bonnie?). Bonnie is so twisted. I anticipate some super drama next week with Bonnie, Wes and Frank at the house. Also, if she killed Wes in the basement over his

Good points all. But I think the puzzle is still plausible and the plot strong if only a bit overgrown like a rangy vine. I imagine most people don't track as much as we do.

Aw, so harsh. I agree with your assessment of the Mahoney's and DA, and if they had focused more on them, it would have been more contrived. But I do think the writers gave Atwood enough motive with her jealousy over Nate, whom she admitted to obsessing over for years before dating. And maybe Mahoneys paid her

She is not an INTENTIONAL murderer. I'm not sure she asked Frank to torch the house and then tragically found out she had accidentally killed Wes. I'm replaying her emotions throughout this season to see if she could have hidden this. Even for Annalise, it would be hard to do. Maybe her Momma did it! Hahaha. She

Good point about his knowing about Wes' death before the others explaining his "bitch face". But the timeline seems definately to be that he got the call from Annalise after he slept with Thomas.

Interesting idea. But I don't think Connor has the skillset to blow up a house. It was not a fire but a time delayed gas explosion. I think he's running to get help or away from something. Maybe he goes to the kitchen after trying to resuscitate Wes and sees the time delay mechanism on the stove. That makes sense

I like Connor. He's the only one who takes a step back and THINKS about who may have done this, first accusing Bonnie last episode and Annalise this episode. Sure, he's got issues. And he's not very likable, but that's what makes the show interesting. (Though that break up with Ollie was kind of contrived and just

What I liked about these episodes is the introduction of new plot material: Wes' body snatching, Frank's jail time and Laurel hiring a private eye. All plausible and inventive. Therefore, they must be going somewhere. That's why I love this show.
