Noooo...we have a European vacation in 1.5 months and don’t need the euro to do any better than it is! /selfish

I nuked mine, too! But reactivated it when it got hacked last week. Before deactivating again, I looked at my profile page and saw my last post was from late October.

My company is headquartered in Raleigh and they wanted me to relocate there. I said (hell) no because I’m a lesbian and no fucking way am I moving from one hostile state to another (although I admittedly did that by moving to Michigan who just went red :/). Anyway, my partner and I make quite a bit of money (I don’t

Anyone with half a modicum of knowledge about government knows that you cannot run government like a business.

Any functioning intelligent person knows you cannot run a government like a business. So fucking frustrating that people believe in this damaging pathology.

I see! We moved from Texas to Michigan and the differences in housing was stark. Nobody in Texas has basements and inferred the same for most other southern states (AL, LA, and FL). Everyone here has a sink in the basement for the washer to drain into and thought that was the sink you were referring to - my bad!

HAHAHAHA you checked the links and saw that I’m right.

Head Like a Hole is perfect for rage expression!

Really? Michiganders seem extremely proud of this place and I can’t understand why! We moved here two years ago and are counting down the days until we can leave :/

Having a sink in the utility room is a thing we noticed people have up north (like in the basements). In the South, we definitely don’t have sinks (our sink is where the washing machine water drains off, which is something totally new to us after having moved). Unless you’re a baller. In other words, it shouldn’t be

I’m a dense stupid fuck, eh? Did you click through any of her links? Not a single one of them points to rice being the primary culprit for all of these poisonings.

I understand food safety as a sound science; I was a restaurant manager of a restaurant that served beans on the line (similar to Chipotle). Problem is, there is no sound science presented in any of the links in the article.

Her links don’t even buttress what she’s saying. There’s one link that shows numbers, but it also reports another study where the numbers are much lower. Further, almost all of the incidents don’t even include rice as the source of the Bacillus cereus poisoning. It’s an intellectually dishonest article, at least with

“Scientifically based and written”, is that so? Did you click through her links? They don’t link to anything she’s talking to. The link on numbers of incidents gives her total, but it also gives a total of 27, 630 - much lower than her stated 63,623. And then when you read where the Bacillus cereus poisoning actually

Bless, that pic never gets old!

I think it stems from the word agriculture - Texas A&M stands for Agricultural and Mechanical. Not very creative over there in College Station (yes, lol, that’s the city they’re located in). They’re historically known for being a farm school.

I take your point, but at colleges like Texas A&M (it’s a huge fucking school), the student government bodies actually do shit. The bodies from Texas A&M and UT are actively involved with the state legislature, and, well, college kids aren’t exactly schoolchildren. As in, they’re adults, not children.

Not true, not at a college like Texas A&M. Texas A&M and UT’s student bodies are actively involved with the state legislature.

A&M used to be some kind of military-type school, didn’t even allow women until the 70s (my dad and uncle were both in the Corps, it was required for awhile). They are heavily brainwashed over there in Aggieland.

As others have pointed out, college student body campaigns are run with more integrity than the American Presidential one.
