My first ride in a Shelby GT-350 was in the owner’s passenger seat. I was smitten. Ford dealers won’t let you test drive a new one (to keep the miles down on the odd) and there wasn’t a used one to test drive, so I bought one anyways and hated from the moment I left the lot.

I used the same technique to get into our C7.

It wasn’t.  It was difficult to get in and out of, and the time in-between was just as awful.
