$40K for a V8 conversion when Chevrolet will be giving you the same engine in a base Camaro starting at $35K for 2020 (new model LT1 Camaro). Cost less than a 1SS Camaro or Mustang GT.

I disagree on the job of not attracting people outside of their base. My local Dealer used to hold HD sponsored “new product” rides twice a year and I’d see many none HD riders show up to check out and ride the merch. However, the high prices and the inability to “deal” for a new bike was considered a turn off. I…

Harley faithful go into a HD Dealer for one thing only - a Harley. We don’t need boats, ATV’s, etc. Their line-up is fine. All we want is a fairly priced bike (and accessories). However they have gone the path of “exclusivity”, over pricing their stuff into the stratosphere.

If MB has shown its cards regarding a new direction for a cross car styling theme, I like it.

2nd & 3rd gear were a hoot.  1st gear was too short.

‘88 GT, with a 3800SC V6 from an SSEi Bonnyville. 5 speed.  Sold it ten years ago. I don’t miss it. But it was cool while we owned it.
