I was part of the minority who wanted it. But my overall point is that there seems to be some shock and dismay about this among some people, when, historically, single-generation backwards compatibility, when there is any to speak of, is the norm.

Is this really a surprise, though? The XBox is unique among consoles in that is is backwards compatible with more than just the previous generation (yes, I know of the PS3 at launch; it isn’t now). Every other console that I can think of that offered backwards compatibility limits to one generation back.

Finished up season 10 of Supernatural. Not one of my favorite seasons. The Evil Dean storyline only lasted three episodes, aborting an interesting direction for the character. They went back to the monster-of-the-week formula far too often, and would then include some bit of Dean going aggro to suggest some larger

Physical media will always have one major advantage: permanent ownership. If a game gets de-listed and you weren’t there to get it, too bad. But if it’s on physical media, there is always a way to get it.

We share a planet with these people.

Came to say this. That spoken word piece that kicks off “Dead Flag Blues” couldn’t be more apt.

And Detroit is also not the exclusive square pizza capital. Hell, I grew up on the west coast and was having square pizza out there in the 80's.

I’ve lived in Detroit 20 years now, and I’ve never seen a pizza cut like this.

Nothing about this sucks. It’s the shitty, non-Charlie kids from Willy Wonka fighting each other. Let them fight. I’m over here eating popcorn, watching the carnage.

As a horror fan, anytime I saw the Paramount logo start a trailer, I held my breath, waiting for the first sound I heard to be “ki ki ki, ma ma ma”.

I starred this so hard, I punched a hole in my mouse.

This right here. There are plenty of solid non-fighter games in the NG library. And yet, 60% of the games in this machine are fighters.

Pick a track from Rez. Any of them.

You’re not the only one who’s thought about that routine and drawn that comparison. It’s hard not to.

Another factor in their losing money: the loss of sports. ESPN is already a money loser, and without sports in that quarter, that bottom line had to be somewhere in the earth’s core.

I don’t think her presence is the issue to be worried about. I’m more worried that it’ll be called and marketed as a Suicide Squad game, but it’ll actually be the Harley Quinn and her +1's. There are other members of the Suicide Squad. They shouldn’t be sidelined in a game that’s ostensibly about a group of people.

He admitted to beating a man with a brick, and dumping his body in a river. And the man is missing. Spin that however you want, but that equals “killed a man”.

Chocolate covered Paydays were around in the 80's. And I can easily find bite-sized Paydays come Halloween.

You can’t hide from BIG CHEESE GYUUDON. Their ooey, gooey tentacles have a long reach.
