I'm still in the camp that thinks that cumulative performance should play into account, and while Sasha was a solid contestant, I dont think she was transcendent in any one skill the way that past winners were (Jinkx with theatrical performance, Raja with fashion, Alaska with branding, etc). It's a moot point now, as

I know her regular performances are great; I've seen the projection mapping. I phrased this better elsewhere in the comments section, but what I was getting at is that she wasn't revolutionary during the season of the show. I know that anyone artistic going on to drag race has to water down their drag; Kim Chi, for

noted!

all good :)

Whoops; I really should have said JK ;D

That's fair, but on the other hand, Shea didn't make C.L.A.T. That is a good mark of a winner in my book ;)

Her snatch game was decent in a weak season, which made it look great. I wouldn't expect her to face off against people like Chad or Jinkx, but she earned a high placement; just not a win. What challenges do you think should have been first specifically? Because I won't deny that she earned her second places, I

Again, we can argue about some of the subjective stuff until the cows come home (I think shea had Sasha beat for unicorn and trinity beat for eleganza, but those are minor quibbles).

1) I don't know; her ball looks grow less impressive the more I think about them (in particular her cowboy look). She was good, but I thought she was rarely the best; I especially see that part of revisionist history coming into play when looking at Snatch Game, where Alexis' winning performance is easily discounted

1) They were talented queens let down by weird production choices and the fact that this cast didn't mesh super well together from a TV perspective.
2) Right; by the time she got to AS2, she could take what worked and rewrite her story effectively.
3) I think part of that might be due to the backlash the show got in

Eh, I'd argue that Alexis mightve been the best lip syncer, but you're right in that I shouldn't discount Manila.

yeah, the LA queens seem divided on Valentina.

I mean, Bianca is many things, but she is not a great lip syncer; theres a reason she does it so unfrequently. And Alaska was great with campy lip syncs, but she might not have fared as well against a more traditional lip syncer like Roxxxy. Still, you're right that its impossible to know for sure.

I mean, I don't want to take away that Sasha is pretty damn good with the theatrics; it just feels like stunts sometimes winning out.

its still a win for Cynthia

I absolutely think Night of 1000 Chers is possible and should be done; beyond that, im not sure for a single person. I'd say Katy Perry, but Oliver is right that we've turned on her

On the flip side, imagine the shit show that would have happened if darienne and roxxxy had won (I'm not mentioning season 3 because i only started watching as it happened with season 5, and I can't get a sense of how the fans felt at the time)

1) Well hey, at least now we can see who will win the race after the race; I know that Shea and Trinity fans will probably rally behind them even harder now.
2) Thats the tragedy; she gave us too much of what she thought we wanted. Alyssa navigated it well because she came back with stronger drag and new catch

Oh yeah, i think part of the reason I was such a bitch earlier tonight is because I had this spoiled to me on reddit 2 weeks earlier and it kinda stewed.

Have Bob do the look and have her lip sync to Cynthia Erivo doing the voice
