1) Oh yeah, the talent show would be a mess for queens who decided to lip sync, but it would be an equalizer for queens who are better at singing live or doing standup comedy. I'm not a producer like Alexis is, so I don't know the perfect solution.
2) Cynthia is a queen I feel sorry for because everyone genuinely

:D

God, I miss THAT Nina Bo'Nina Brown. I will forever lament that she was not more like this, because I think she would have won if she was able to roll with the punches more (especially since she's a damn good lip syncer when she tries; she mightve been a contender in this format).

I do think that this exact format is going to be a one-off that will continue to be refined, but I agree that the stakes were much higher than usual. It felt like the show wanted to go back to the older finales, which I can respect.

You're all whores who should take Tyra Sanchez's advice and JUMP!

JK. I said JK because I want Kimora to know that I'm kidding, and I think y'all are neat

Was your optometrist cancelled? Because your eyes are fucked!

1) I think that a talent show would be better, but I do agree that having A performance is better than having NO performance. I'm just pressed because my faves lost deservedly, and I can admit that.
2) I think Cynthia might get her first "toot" of the season with this finale look, and I'm so proud to see it. I'm so

fuck yeah!

I disagree. First, I'd say Shea fudged the prompt more than outright broke it; when viewed away form the horrendous purple lighting (which, in the words of Jasmine Masters, had fucked up drag) it made more sense as a deconstructed rainbow. Secondly, I don't care because it was beautiful, and because it would have

I'd say her movie premiere was pretty high fashion. A case could be made for her money ball look as well.

Eh, if we want to get into who was the most Tumblr, I'd still say Sasha (the tragedy mirror moments, "don't joke about that", etc), but that's neither here nor there. I do agree on Peppermint, though.

My larger point was that Sasha didn't deliver on her brand that she promised the way that the other finalists did. However, it doesn't look like we're going to agree, so I'm happy to agree to disagree and reiterate that it was fun commenting with you this season :)

anyways, having now exhausted my bitter betty reserves, I'mma do season superlatives:

3 pencil skirts, 2 flowy crown dresses, 2 and a partridge in Uglinas cage!

Acid Betty would like to have a word with you ;)

Ok, I understand a little bit more with this. I still think that Shea promoting black excellence or Peppermint being a fierce trans woman of color would have had a similar effect of being a fuck you to the administration, but I don't want to get into another racial shouting match this week :P

I enjoyed it for her bit on Michelle's book and her destiny's child read.

But they never claimed to be revolutionary artsy queens; Sasha did.

she wasn't even that high fashion honestly; she had nearly as many basic pencil skirts as Shea did bathing suits
