Problem is that it's not just used sales, it's the rental business.

The reason GameStop and used retailers are able to crow about their high profits from sales of used software is because there is clearly a large percentage of consumers who are unwilling or unable to purchase software at current prices. That does NOT mean they do not want to buy software.

Wasn't the Wii U said to be only slightly more powerful than the 360 and PS3? How is it the next Xbox will be 6 times as powerful, yet only 20% moreso than the Wii U? Either the source is off on the spec estimates or it's just bad math somewhere on someone's part.

I wish I could promote you further.

I think there is one scenario that makes sense both for the fans and the studio: release a Mutant Sports League game where it is a compilation of all the Mutant League sports titles.

Were beta codes able to be activated prior to today? I got Uncharted 3 (new copy) as a gift over the holidays and when I tried activating the Starhawk code it said it either was incorrect (not true) or no longer valid. I really wanted to get my hands on it, as it's one of my most anticipated titles of the year. Any

Are the beta keys included with Uncharted 3 active yet or not? I just started the game yesterday and the first thing I did was try to activate the included online vouchers and the Starhawk one kept saying it was either incorrect or no longer active.

I just played MoH earlier this week and the only thing I disliked about it was the fact I finished the entire campaign in two sittings without even trying very hard (aka it was short as shit). I liked the campaign much more than the Battlefield 3 campaign, I can assure you of that. No monotonous QTEs popping up

I think all he means is that EA shouldn't try and release two "major" modern day FPS games in the same year.

That is pure speculation on your behalf meant to troll people based on nothing more than some text on a video. You have no idea what actual statistical advantage these guns have over any other gun in the game seeing as A) they generally don't release actual stats and B) you have yet to play the game at ANY point and

Biggest surprises for me this year:

For me, GOTY should be based solely on how much fun and sheer enjoyment one gains from playing a title. It should speak to how seamlessly one becomes lost in the world around them and how they lose hours upon hours playing it. For me, not yet having played Skyrim, means only two titles are even contenders for me

I'm not a fan of Zelda, by any means, but I really REALLY like the hand drawn style of the design. I have a solid black design on my side that I designed (by hand) and it would have added a lot to have it appear drawn on. Props to whomever came up with that design/style.

I wonder when dedicated handheld game devices will catch up to current consoles and their biggest competitor (smartphones) and include a significant amount of built in memory. Personally, I think the WiFi only model should have been packing available with 8 or 16gb and the 3G should have been offered with 16 or 32gb.

As someone deep into the Dark Tower series (middle of book 5), I love the universe King created. The characters are rich and the back story is immense. However, I don't think an MMO would be quite the right setting, unless it took place long before the events of the book (like how KOTOR handled its use of the Star

I love my 360. I play more games on it than my PS3 and Wii combined. That being said, besides Halo 4 I cannot think of a single exclusive coming out for the system I want to play next year. PS3 has Starhawk and Twisted Metal in the first 4/5 months alone AND had The Last Guardian somewhere (presumably) in the

Never once did I attack Monolith. In fact, I'm not blaming the developer. I'm sure they had a great idea and Warner Bros. would only publish it if they could implement the Batman license. That fact is sad, because it should be able to stand on its own.

The giant bat logo is close enough. What I mean is that it looks like the sort of product that was being developed (a fun team-based downloadable shooter with customization options) that they couldn't figure out how to market so they shoe-horned the Batman license into in hopes of instilling significant sales

As a huge Batman fan for many years, I really shouldn't be as interested in this game as I am. It looks weirdly entertaining and fun. Sad they had to slap the Batman name on the product just to sell more copies, as it looks like decent fun in and of itself.

I don't really care who agrees with you or not. From the perspective of a software developing professional, you are 100% correct. End of discussion. Like it or not, this business is predicated on developing and releasing quality software. If that software is objectively broken, it does not deserve accolades higher
