Give me more character customization (armor, mostly) and weapon crafting and I am sold. Wait, who am I kidding, I love Borderlands. I'm already sold.

I'm not saying they don't (I'm overly excited for the Vita). All I'm saying is that I believe Nintendo could make even more money as a software developer for all platforms than a hardware manufacturer and software developer for their own systems.

They say that, but I think if they took a long hard look at the opportunity working on other platforms could afford them (should it ever come to such an actual crucial decision, mind you) that they would rather move to a software-only model.

I never said they should do it for purely financial reasons. I was stating my opinion that they would do even better as a company if their characters and properties were available on every single device imaginable, including their current direct competitors. Who wouldn't pay to have Mario or Zelda on their Xbox or

I never said they should follow Sega's track record since bowing out of hardware manufacturing. I just said the business move into a software-only company would be something worth investigating, especially for a company with such a strong and consistent library of first-party software.

Personally, I think Nintendo should let the hardware manufacturing and design to Microsoft and Sony and focus on creating the greatest software they can. Kind of go the way of Sega after the Dreamcast (sadly) failed. If they were to become software-only and make their properties available across all platforms, they

I cannot wait for Dead Island. One of my most anticipated games of the year. If it is half as good as the games it is taking inspiration from, then I will be extremely pleased.

Clearly you have not gotten your hands on a copy of Child of Eden.

And yet there are still no games for it worth paying that much for the system. Weird.

WTF. It keeps getting uglier and more difficult to use. Who the hell do you hire to do this shit for you? Because let me give you a hint, as an HCI student, you shouldn't be paying them.

Only having recently fallen back in love with my PSP after ignoring for a few years, I cannot wait to get my hands on the Vita. I won't make the same mistake twice. Playing catch up on such a great system is a pain in the ass.

Too bad I'm never replacing my wired headset again. My system RROD'd the other week and I bought a refurbished unit and it just so happened to come with the original wired headset, the one with the on/off thumb switch on the base plug into the controller, NOT on the wire midway to your head. It was such a pleasant

I don't know. I played Uncharted 1 later than most, as I didn't have a PS3 when it released so I played it weeks before 2 came out and was really looking forward to it (2, that is). I bought 2 and loved it, but I never got into the multiplayer, though I tried. It was certainly a breathtaking experience, but my

As someone who has primarily been an Xbox gamer for the whole of this generation, I have really started showing a lot more love for my PS3 lately. I've been actively catching up on some system exclusives that I had missed (Resistance, among others) and enjoyed enjoyed and. Better yet, the PS3 has a much better

Damn. If you would have told me just a few years ago a Saint's Row title would ever be near the top of my most wanted games of a Fall season, I would have laughed in your face. As it stands, this is going to be one of the three purchases I allow myself every Fall (the rest I let my friends and family know I'm

GTA IV had a great story... if you like serious crime dramas and having to answer your cell phone every 5 minutes. Saint's Row 2 had a great story... if you like interesting and refreshing gameplay and a whole heap of customization and insanity.

Seeing as I think the graphics will look awesome no matter what system I play it on, my only question is whether or not I want my Battlefield 3 to be portable. My new laptop is itching for something to play and even if it can't handle the super maximum PC settings, it'll likely still be better than the console

I bought a copy used off of GameFly because I thought it looked awesome but my system begins to read the disc, gets to the initial loading screen (before the logo is even shown) and then shuts down entirely. I've tried it ten or so times. I don't know what the problem is. I'd love to play it, but having some sort

I've recently been falling back in love with my PSP after years of neglect (I won it in a contest a couple years ago at E3 and never gave it the time of day) after picking up some of the systems' better/unique titles like Vice City Stories, the God of War games, Twisted Metal, Pursuit Force, Killzone, Lumines (can't

I just picked up Twisted Metal Head-On for $5 to keep me entertained on a long road trip and I've been playing it a bit and it brings back so many fond memories. Can't wait for the new one.
