@ttocs: I wouldn't be worried about a rush. The whole reason Treyarch was brought in for the CoD franchise was so that each team developing had a full two year cycle available. If they fuck up, it's their own fault. IW was able to push a title out in two years, so will Treyarch.

@Castrum: Having to outsource your story to another format of media in order to make it compelling doesn't make me feel very strongly for your ability to tell a story within your own chosen medium.

@Castrum: Sorry, but when I think of Bungie, one of the LAST things I think of is quality story telling.

@Plainswalker22: Sorry, but none of the Halo sequels were amazing. They were all rehashed ideas from the first title. They garnered much praise and solid sales due to tight focused gameplay, but they certainly didn't push the realms of FPS gameplay or storytelling by any means.

This game looks pretty fantastic. I need to catch up on those live action previews.

@Deez: I'm just worried that with DICE developing the MoH multiplayer that it won't differentiate itself substantially enough from BC2.

I can't wait until we stop cramming our space stations and space crafts with all kinds of necessary equipment and instead design them to be minimalistic and artsy.

@Altima NEO: It sounds to me like you have a larger issue with the players themselves than the tactics. I totally agree with you on that front, however there is something to be said for a sniper who can accurately and effectively defend or assault an objective.

@Liptons: You make a valid point. How "realistic" are any of these games when it boils down to it? Not very.

After playing Perfect Dark again on XBLA I do not need prone. I need double crouch. Or, as Flo Rida would say, the "get low" ability.

@Liptons: Problem for me is that it is available in real life. Soldiers don't run and gun for a reason, it'll get you killed. I'd rather post up somewhere and try to conceal myself to get kills than run around like an ass.

@Salen: If I get in a match with people who do that often enough I just start shooting at their feet. They dolphin dive right into a wall of bullets. They usually learn pretty quick.

@Altima NEO: I don't understand the hatred for snipers in games like BF2. Sure, they're annoying, but if the sniper is well hidden and picking off targets he's doing his job. That's the whole point of a sniper. If your team is having trouble, flush him out and shoot him. Or beat him at his own game.

I liked the first GW game for the month that I played it. Just got bored of the whole scene after that. Fun little time waster, but I prefer my games to have a slightly more cohesive and structured narrative.

@Hey_Blinkon: Well, Ubisoft went ahead and made a sequel to Red Steel, an uninspired game that was destroyed in the review press, but then again it sold a lot of copies based solely on the fact it was the first true FPS for the Wii. Now the sequel suffered for it (I don't think it helped that it requires the Motion

@welshyroxs: The general public at large has no idea who Activision is or why they are a bad company. Sadly so.

@ryoshi: Comcast uses their new digital cable boxes simply to limit over the air HD channels. My roommate and I both have HDTVs and used to get 10-12 free HD channels. Then Comcast decided to "upgrade our services" with mandatory digital cable boxes and *poof* all the free HD channels disappeared.
