The beginning and the end were fantastic. Turturro deserves all the recognition he gets for the role he played. But goddamn were Naz and Kapoor stupid. Just so stupid. At the end the only thing my wife said was “Well at least the cat thing got figured out!”

The show benefitted - tremendously - from an incredibly intense pilot. It hooked us and drew us into Naz’s plight right away, even though it fumbled almost every opportunity borne from that intensity in almost every episode that followed.
