Why would anyone hate Titanic? I saw it on cable recently and everything about it is fucking excellent. I forgot how sad it is. How sexy it is. Its brilliant. The only mark against it is that it tries to be every movie at once, but it mostly succeeds. I can't conceive of a universe where its the worst anything.

I saw Basic Instinct 2 in a theater too. I might include it on this list if I could remember a single thing about it.
