This was an emotional rollercoaster. I watched the entire 6+ hour thing, and I went back when CBS aired the 1 hr produced version tonight.

It wasn’t really discontinued, it was always scheduled to go away on 10/9, as it was part of their limited time “Experiences”, experience #5 to be exact. And like all their limited time offers, they keep selling them unadvertised until they run out. Their new taco goes away 11/11.

Its a pretty good idea to address the almost supernaturally bad lifespan of Wendy’s fries, but those types of battered fries are so low rent. I think even BK has gone away from them. Reminds me a school cafeteria.

I got curious and tried it again, and they continue to execute it correctly. That layer of cheese around the edge of the crust is so addictive.
