I understand it may come across as pedantic but all I disagreed with is that the OP said the founding fathers made an error and they specifically wouldn’t have wanted equal voting rights in this country even if they could see society today. I think they kept the door open on purpose.

I’m sure there are intangible returns as well like less dependence on fossil fuels and such.

I think you’re misunderstanding me. I completely agree they were complicit in egregious human rights violations with their treatment of Africans, and the founding fathers did not see Africans and African Americans as equal to European whites. What I’m trying to say is that it was not an oversight on their part that

Let’s just propose a scenario. Let’s say Washington et al wrote into the Declaration of Independence and later the Constitution that slavery is illegal and everyone including women had equal rights from the start. Do you think that the United States would have been formed?

I think it’s fair to say neither of us are historians, but we both have a view of what happened. Hopefully those views came from somewhat of an educated place.

It’s my opinion that the laws as intended and experiences of people living under those laws are not usually the same. While most founding fathers probably

Do you think it’s possible that they meant to include everyone in their words and that society would come around to the injustice of non-white males? I mean there are car shows, but the ones you mentioned might not necessarily be car shows.

Um I’m not judging your character based on your clear lack of proficiency in the English language, but if you can barely have a text based conversation I highly doubt you’ll absorb all the nuances to properly judge how good or not good Harris is.

I really just disagree with what you look for in a car review. It sounds like you prefer drama and a story more than anything. I’m sure you prefer Jeremy Clarkson who doesn’t even really talk about the cars accurately.

I completely disagree. Harris provides a density of information that the others can’t match. I feel like I really understand what the car is like after watching Monkey drive.

It sucks though that the salesman has nothing to do with it. Most of them think it’s cheesy too but they go along with it.

It was the perfect combination of reading, and video, and graphs and data but also fun explanations of things. It’s always fun to hear about what the day to day experiences of cars are especially 6 or 7 years after they came out.

I enjoyed reading this article. Thanks for sharing!

What I don’t understand about this is how they can vote proudly for the Republican party their entire lives when the party has changed? It’s basically flipped from where it was 50 years ago.
